Let’s start at the beginning of the Kiehl’s story before I begin gushing, as usual about their products.
It all began in 1851 at a corner store in New York City. John Kiehl purchased the apothecary in 1894 and began Kiehl’s Pharmacy. In 1922 the company introduced a ‘try before you buy’ allowing for more personalisation when it came to skincare and also allowed for personalised customer service. This has remained the Kiehl’s tradition for 95 years and the company was also one of the first to proudly display their ingredients on the products’ label before it became mandatory.
In 2005 Kiehl’s introduced a range of dermatological products in conjunction with a panel of dermatologists. Kiehl’s also ‘gives back’ which supports charities around the world including environmental support, children’s charities and also towards AIDS research.
Today Kiehl’s continues its passion for skincare with nature-inspired scientifically proven formulas for healthy skin and continue to personalise products right for the consumer.
I’ve been trying tot Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream which is perfect for on-going moisturising all day, for you skin. The cream keeps hydrating the skin by absorbing moisture form the air, leaving skin smooth, soft and healthy.
In addition to the Ultra Facial Cream the Glow Formula Skin Hydrator is perfect for instantly illuminating the skin, leaving a perfectly healthy glow. The Cream boosts the shin’s radiance with the benefits of natural antioxidants. It is enriched with pomegranate and illuminative minerals and formulated with 95% naturally derived ingredients.
I love the feel of all the Kiehl’s products on my skin, the packaging the ingredients and their performance. I also love knowing that Kiehl’s is progressive, they’re well established yet always trying new formulas and consumer-led skincare.
If you have a moment, click here to try out the skincare finder on the Kiehl’s website and find something that suits your skin’s needs. Also whilst you’re there have a look at their Mother’s Day collections.
