Protein Balls

DAIRY FREE – REFINED SUGAR FREE – GLUTEN FREE – SOY FREE – VEGAN

 

These easy no-bake protein balls are quick, delicious and perfect for eating as a quick snack or as part of your morning routine.

These protein balls are high in natural energy, protein and fat and are a wholesome and nourishing food.

You only need a few ingredients and most of them will already be in your pantry, or you could easily substitute.

 

1 3/4 cup raw almonds

8 pitted dates

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 cup plant based protein powder (I used hemp)

2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/3 cup dairy free chocolate chips

1/2 cup of shredded coconut for coating

Blend the almonds until they are a fine paste and then add the rest of the ingredients except for the chocolate chips, blending until smooth. place the mix into a bowl and fold in the chocolate chips, making sure they are thoroughly thought the mixture.

Place the coconut in a small bowl or onto a plate.

With wet hands scoop up chunks of the mix and roll into bite size balls and then roll in the coconut, making sure to cover all sides of your sphere.

 

Refrigerate in an airtight container, and these will be good for up to a week.
