Blogmas- Vapiano Pasta, Pizza and Vegans

I was so excited to find a little invite in my Instagram DM’s from Vapiano’s. I have been wanting to go and visit them so some Italian feasting but sadly there was not much in the way of vegan options. Luckily the team at Vapiano’s know what people want and that is vegan options!

Bob and I headed to Vapiano’s on a beautiful sunday afternoon to indulge in their Vegan Long Lunch, which consisted of pizzas, pastas and desserts, being gluten free along with vegan Vapiano’s went above and beyond with not just one but three gluten free options and not only that but they have up three dishes to devour. Even Bob, the fussiest of fussy eaters (I’m serious, your three year old- has nothing on Bob) enjoyed the zoodles with a rich tomato passata with herbs and artichoke hearts. We also hoed into the potato gnocchi which was superb and was so garlicky that it was almost dreamy (I adore garlic) and there was a super greens risotto which was unbelievable, and probably my favourite dish, it was creamy, cheesy and yum.

Dessert arrived, and we both kept our mouths shut about needing a gluten free dessert, because we knew the Oreo Cream Smash was going to me amazing. It was. A thick creamy pudding with a hint of alcohol, a half dipped in Oreo in the centre, it was so good.

The atmosphere was relaxed and chilled, the service was impeccable and I really enjoyed the food, it’s definitely a family-friendly place and I could also see it being visited for date night and hanging out with friends, I imagine it to be very popular in summer, with plenty of outdoor seating.
