Who doesn’t like brownies?
My favourites are the almost raw, gooey kind with lots of frosting. Not an ideal treat, as the sugar rush can be way too much & give that sickly sweet feeling..
I came up with this recipe after perusing the isles at the supermarket for a chocolate treat but everything available was full of processed sugar, fat and a too high calorie content.
These little cakes are still full of fudgey goodness and stayed moist and sweet even after being refrigerated for a few days.
I found all these ingredients at my local Woolworths, including the colourful chocolate chips.
2 Bananas
1 cup Gluten Free Flour
4 tbs Natvia
1/2 cup Carob Powder
1 cup Dairy Free Chocolate Chips
2 tbs Almond Milk
2 tbs Nuttlex
1/2 container Tofutti Cream Cheese
Mash bananas & add 3/4 of the dairy free chocolate chips- melted- & dairy free spread.
Mix and combine the gluten free flour, carob powder & 3/4 of the Natvia.
Bake in a brownie tin for 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
Once cooled, combine the remaining ingredients & spread over the brownies as icing. Decorate with some coloured vegan chocolate chips.
