Christmas is approaching, the trees and decorations are in stores and I’m about ready to begin decorating the house, both inside and out. I love the festive season and everything that comes along with it, the family events, the decorations the religious aspect, I adore it all.
It’s so hard to find gifts for people and sometimes it’s easy. What I find hard when it comes to buying gifts is actually the motivation to go to a busy shopping centre and meander my way through all the deals and specials and other shoppers. It’s much more convenient to shop and browse online and have gifts delivered directly to myself or the receiver.
This year I’ve decided to create a Christmas Gift Guide for you, showcasing some of my favourite products and beautiful gifts for the upcoming festive season. You’ll find some brands I’ve spoken about in the past, some new ones and I’ve also included direct discount links that apply to make your shopping easier and a little cheaper.
Skincare lovers will adore the Versed range from Revolve which is my ultimate for easy and simple skincare. I recommend the make-up removal balm and the overnight peel mask and the toner. I love the simplicity of the vegan, cruelty free products and adore the soft coloured, packaging, and they’re a wonderful range that works so well on my skin and are easily introduced into my skincare routine.
LUSH has always been a favourite of mine but there was never many stores close to where I lived but thankfully online shopping is an option so I always make sure to get my hands on their Halloween and Christmas range, with the Snow Fairy range being my number one all year, every year. The scent I always associate with Christmas even though it is a fairy floss sweet scent. The Yog Nog is another favourite and a creamy custardy body wash that is perfect for igniting those Christmas vibes with the gentle scent wafting from my skin throughout the day.
For the candle lover in your life my go to brand is Aroma Angel, a Melbourne small business with beautifully scented candles and diffusers. My favourite has been the Gingerbread and Maple Bread scents which have been specially made for past Christmases and the entire range of scents are so strong and the throw is incredible. The candle range includes small travel tins to large 30 hour burn candles. You can read more about Aroma Angels here.
As you’ve seen on my previous blog post ACEology is the perfect gift for someone that loves face masks and skincare and the Aceology range is full of a range of different masks such as sheet mask and modelling maks, plus there are skincare tools to chose from and lip care too.
Another favourite of mine is the beautiful essential oils from DoTerra with everything you need to help your health and wellbeing plus the addition of healing and cleaning products. There’s a holiday range available too and also trial kits too, which gives you the perfect variety of oils to begin your collection or add to what you already have at home. The Family Essential’s Kit is my favourite which gives you a base of oils to start your oil journey with plus all the information you need for using them.
If you’re looking for something for the chocolate lover in your life or need some extra goodies for a Christmas hamper the incredible range from Sweet Pea & Poppy is perfect, with locally made chocolate bars and treats not only do their chocolates taste amazing but they are so beautifully presented that you’ll probably not want to eat them.
If you’re looking for a gift that lasts all year or a one-off present for that someone special The Vegan Box is an amazing option for the cruelty free supporter in your life. Each month a box of goodies is delivered direct to your (or someone else’s) door full of the latest and greatest gluten free vegan goodies that are sure to put a smile on your face and keep your belly happy. There is also a Vegan Beauty Box option too, perfect for those that are conscientious of the products they are using in their skincare and make up routines. You can read more about The Vegan Box here, here and here.
Another plant-based option for those looking to change their health with the addition of supplements to help with health issue such as general wellness, fibromyalgia, weight loss, gut health and mental health issues such as anxiety and depression a subscription to Plexus would satisfy their curiosity on the products and also give them or maybe it’s for yourself, the gift of health and happiness for the new year, especially with the food filled Christmas season. If you want to read about my Plexus journey you can read about it here.
If you’re located in Perth, the fabulous Duck Duck Mother Goose has your cookie’s covered, with everything from bags of cookies, cookies for your hampers and cookie cakes, yes cookie cakes are available and can even be delivered to your door if you’re local.
If you’re the organised type or want to become more organised the range from Erin Condren is the one and only planner that you need. The planners are completely customisable and there are plenty or layouts, colours and accessories to choose from. There are also ad-ons such as highlighters, bags, stickers and pens to choose from, the list is pretty much endless and shipping to Australia takes no time at all.
Happy Christmas shopping!
Simply,
Natalie Laura
